I began my graphics career at just nineteen, working my way up to one of Sri Lanka’s largest marketing businesses. In 2011, I moved to the United States to attend the International Children’s Ministry Institute (ICMI) in Litchfield, IL. It was there that I met my wife, and three years later, we were married. God blessed us with two beautiful children, Matthew and Abigail. Sadly, in 2021, Deb passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
In 2024, God brought healing and new joy into my life when I remarried Ge-Anne, and together we continue to serve the Lord as a family.
Starting my own printing business had always been a dream of mine. With very humble beginnings, I took the first steps—using second-hand printers squeezed into our small living room apartment. Over time, I was able to open a storefront in Hillsboro, IL. Today, AJ Banners has grown beyond banner printing to include a wide variety of products like T-shirts, mugs, accessories, yard signs, and much more.
As a family, we’ve been involved in ministry and missions for many years. That heart continues to guide what we do at AJ Banners. We love serving churches—especially small church bodies—because we understand the value of their message and want to do our part to support their work.
